pencil, ink, paint on cardboard

I am creating a series of images, working from sections of New York Times photos.  I am grateful to the photographers who travel the world covering some of the most confusing, dangerous and troubled places.  Where there is war there is also everyday life.  I aim furtherto explore the beauty and the power that these photographers have uncovered.   The pieces I am making are 4” x 6” each and will be displayed together as a whole. To date there are 1,100 paintings in this series.
