Cape Cod Museum Show

Spring, 2014

I spent two years sculpting clay heads of 1001 artists.   El Greco, Zubarán, Rothko, O’Keefe, Bacon,  Richter, everybody.  And many more you may not have heard of.  Each is an artist who dedicated his or her life to the study and practice of art.  Each was an innovator, a risk taker, a communicator with a unique vision of the world.   This project allowed me to look back at so many great paintings and sculptures, to study the lives of the artists and to reconnect with people with whom I share a common interest.   I present here a small sampling of the work.
